I guess i am a holiday Blogger.. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Hey! We hope everyones Thanksgiving was as wonderful as ours. We stuffed ourselves with two Thanksgiving feasts from both parents and loved every second of it!!! Happy Holdiays!!


I went shopping today and this was the result (crystal light, a 12 pack of now and laters, salt and vinegar pringles, a jar of dill pickles, a large jar of hot peppers, lemon juice, apples, and some cottage cheese).... huh, weird cravings??? Or a normal shopping trip, I dunno!!!

Murder of a millionaire....

Mystery Murder!
Friday night was great... we had a murder mystery with a bunch of our friends, a night filled with love, hate, friends, enemies, acting, horror, murders, and fun. And it was all part of the game. For those of you that have never done one, it is a lot of fun. You can buy the "plot" online. Each person is given a character to play for the night. The plot of ours was that a millionaire (Rick Rochester) was murdered and the party was held to read his will and solve the mystery of who murdered him. I was Jasmine Rochester (Rick's widow) and of course, the majority of the party thought I was the murderer. It was a lot of fun... check out some pics.. Landon was Fabio Fabulous, my pool boy... if you couldn't tell... by the way, he also won best dressed for the night!!!

Baby Madden

This is our newest nephew... Yup, by February, we will have four of the lil squirts!! Anyway, two weeks ago, we got a text around midnight saying that Natalie (Landon's sister) was having contractions and they were headed to the hospital. She wasn't even due until today so she came early. So, I jumped out of bed and told Landon that we needed to head to the hospital!! Yeah right, he told me to settle down, and after talking to Landon's mom, she said that Natalie probably wouldn't have the baby for a couple of hours, so stay home. So, Landon and I went back to bed and anxiously awaited the phone call. I couldn't sleep... I was so excited!! Throughout the night, I got texts and updates and finally we were told to come to the hospital (at 4:30 am) because she was so close. We rushed to the hospital and had plenty of time to relax once we were there. Once she was dialated to a 10, they called the doctor, don't worry, he took over an hour to get there! I was so anxious! Anyway, she finally gave birth to him around 7:45 and Landon and I were both able to watch and make it to work at a decent time. Birth is so amazing, I love watching it and believe it or not... I can't wait to have my own (in many years to come)!! He is so stinking cute, I love holding him and snuggling with him as you can tell!

In college, we were obsessed with fuzzy posters... this was one of my favorites, I colored it!

Life is wonderful even though I don't have time to blog about it!! I can rarely find time to blog, but I know how exciting it is when you go to someones page to snoop (admit it, we all do it!) and they actually have an update... so I thought I would spread some excitement! Landon and I are doing wonderful. I am back teaching school and I love it. This is my second year and I am really enjoying it. Being my second year, I thought it would be a lot easier than my first, but it is just different, you know a bigger class, but they are great.... different challenges than last year, but it will be fun!
Landon is working and going to school. He works down in American Fork at Zions Bank.. far! I am sure some of you think that, but our house is in Draper right by Bangerter so we can get places pretty fast. He goes down there for work and he also goes down to UVU for school (business). He also teaches guitar when he comes home from work... so he is so busy and doing great at everything he does!
Not much new news.... except we are so excited! Both of our sisters are having baby boys soon. Natalie is due in October and Brooke is due in February... we can't wait!!!!
Hope all is well for everyone else, I know these are busy times and I hardly ever see anyone, but if anyone ever wants to hang out, let us know... we are always looking for a good time!

RANDOM SUMMER ADVENTURES..... enough to make a new post I guess!

24th of July... Seven Peaks! My first time there and it was a blast! And a little bit scary!


Landon and I went out to Wendover last weekend..it was quite the adventure. We spent a while chowing down at the buffet, went swimming and hot tubing, took the shuttle around to all the hotels, and found a really great live band at the Peppermill. It was really fun! If you have never been to Wendover, or out west, you are missing some cool land. The Bonneville Salt Flats. Landon and I thought it was so cool. We stopped to take pictures and walk around. It is miles and miles on salt, how bizarre!







This was our hotel room. Wendover is pretty ghetto, so we thought the rooms would be way crappy, but believe it or not, this room was one of the nicest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in!

The Daybreak beach. This is so cool! It is a secret beach out in Daybreak. It is so fun, you can go swim, fish, jump off the docks, and most of all enjoy the day at the beach here in Utah.... its great!
